FAQs

The date depends on which month you have registered for, so please take note of the start and end date, however all our courses commence on a Monday. We ask that you arrive in Bali at least the day before as all our students are invited to attend a traditional Balinese opening ceremony on the Sunday prior to the course start date.

When is payment due and how do I pay?

You will be sent an invoice for the remaining balance, which is due one month before the course starts. You will be able to pay by bank transfer, transferwise and PayPal.

This course provides an in-depth understanding of all aspects of yoga. The styles we teach are Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and basic Ashtanga. By enrolling on the course you will learn all of the below topics:

Being a beginner is absolutely fine, all we ask is that you keep up your practice especially in the run up to the course. Generally we would expect 6 months of consistent training and we recommend you train at least 3 times a week a month before the YTT.

The early bird offer ends 45 days before the course is due to start. If you register before this you will be entitled to the early bird offer.

If you would like to book a private room and have someone stay with you that is not partaking in the course, that is absolutely fine! The additional cost per private room is $350 USD.

Lots of recent changes to visa applications due to current situation. However it is possible to get to Bali! We have had many students come here during the last 6 months and join the course, no issues. We can help you with this, please contact us.

If you have paid the $300 USD non-refundable deposit and are unable to attend the course that you have registered for you are able to transfer to any other date within a year from when you paid.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we advise that bookings that have been made and you are unable to use are moved and rescheduled to any of our future YTT dates. Refund requests will be reviewed individually. Usually we don't offer refunds unless it's for extenuating circumstances.

Policy and procedure / student liability:

Due to teacher cancellations or any other situations outside our control, we reserve the right to make any changes to our programme, courses or teachers. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare and travel plans.

Joga Yoga accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness whilst the students are on training with us, or for any travel costs to or from the retreat site.

Joga Yoga strongly recommend that you have your own travel insurance to cover any loss or injury, including repatriation if necessary.

Passports, visas and health/medical requirements are the responsibility of the student. You must ensure that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas, as well as any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements.

The course is 21 days long and 200 hours. The schedule is as follows: 7.00 – 7.30 Chanting & Meditation

9.00 – 10.30 Vegetarian/Vegan Breakfast

10.30 – 12.30 Yoga Philosophy & Anatomy

12.30 – 14.00 Lunch & Free Time

14.00 – 16.00 Asana Lab

16.00 – 17.00 Strength, Mobility, Flexibility

17.00 – 18.00 Candle light Yin Yoga

Saturday is a half day and Sunday is a free day for you to explore Canggu as you wish
